Bo Wang has over 20 years of work experience in research and development. They started their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1993. They then worked as a Senior Research Chemist in the research and development department of Unimin Corporation for a year before moving on to World Minerals Inc. In World Minerals Inc., they held the position of Manager/Director of Research and Development from 1997 to 2005. After that, Bo Wang joined Imerys as a Senior Principal Scientist, first in the Filtration & Performance Additives department from 2006 to 2016, and then in the Platform Technology department from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Bo Wang serves as the Vice President of Research & Development at Active Minerals International.
Bo Wang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Solid State Chemistry from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. In addition to their doctoral education, Bo Wang also received certifications in Managing New Product Development from Northwestern University and an Engineering Management Certificate from Caltech in the years 2004 and 2002 respectively.
