Bradley Townsley is a Senior Scientist at Active Motif since January 2022. Previously, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Amaryllis Nucleics from February 2016 to April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Davis from April 2013 to February 2016. At UC Davis, they focused on protocol development and optimization for NGS library production, development of biotechnological systems for remote sensing of plant health status, and using bioinformatics to study plant response to abiotic stresses.

Bradley Townsley earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis. Bradley pursued this program from 2005 to 2013.
