Reaearch Associate III at Active Motif

Vi Truong has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They started their career as a Research Assistant at UC Davis in 2011, where they worked in the Louise Jackson Soil and Root Ecology Laboratory. They then moved on to Lin-Zhi International in 2014, where they worked as a Production Chemist, formulating and optimizing calibrators and diagnostic reagents. In 2016, Vi joined Stanford University School of Medicine as a Life Science Research Professional. They later transitioned to the University of Oregon in 2017, where they worked as a Graduate Employee until 2020. In 2021, Vi became a Staff Research Associate III at UC San Diego, studying the stress response of the endoplasmic reticulum. Finally, in 2022, Vi joined Active Motif as a Research Associate II.

Vi Truong completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of California, Davis from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oregon from 2017 to 2020.
