Sarah Alharthey currently serves as Head of Partnerships in Business Development & Investment for China at ACWA Power, where tenure began in May 2019. Additionally, Sarah holds several positions including Board Director at Sakaka Company and various roles within ACWA Power’s business development team. Recently, Sarah has been recognized as a Future Energy Leader with the World Energy Council since March 2023 and will participate as a Fellow with Eisenhower Fellowships from April to November 2024. Sarah’s extensive involvement with the World Economic Forum includes roles as Curator and Global Shaper in the Jeddah hub, alongside impactful contributions as an Impact Officer. Previous engineering roles were held at prominent companies including Alstom, GSK, Procter & Gamble, GE Power, and Schneider Electric. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from Effat University, alongside ongoing executive leadership studies at IMD and various fellowships from prestigious institutions such as Yale University and The University of Tokyo.
