Sharmin Karim is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since May 2019, Sharmin previously worked at Autodesk from October 2013 to April 2019 as a software engineer focused on instructables.com. Academic experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley from 2010 to 2013, where Sharmin conducted research on the combination of ambient plasma and chemotherapy for breast cancer. Prior undergraduate research positions at MIT involved developing microfluidic devices for gene synthesis and exploring gene circuit evolution in yeast.
