Hannah Watkins

Scientist at Adimab

Hannah Watkins has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Hannah began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Danielle Benoit Laboratory at the University of Rochester, where they conducted independent research to design a polymeric delivery system for chemotherapy drug parthenolide. Hannah also served as a Teaching Assistant for Matlab for Biomedical Engineering and Biosystems and Circuits. In 2011, they were a Fulbright Fellow in Molly Stevens Laboratory at the US-UK Fulbright Commission, where they conducted research and wrote and defended a thesis to obtain an M. Phil. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Ph.D. Candidate in David Putnam Laboratory at Cornell University, where they designed and conducted experiments to improve adjuvant design for universal influenza vaccine. In 2017, they became a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied vaccine design and diagnostics in Darrell Irvine's and Paula Hammond's labs. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior IRB Reliance Coordinator and IRB Coordinator for Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Currently, they are a Scientist at Adimab, LLC.

Hannah Watkins attended University of Rochester from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering, with minors in Chemical. Hannah then pursued a Master's degree in Materials Engineering at Imperial College London from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University from 2012 to 2017.
