Muhammad Raisul Abedin

Muhammad Raisul Abedin is a Principal Scientist at Adipo Therapeutics, focusing on IND enabling studies related to preclinical animal efficacy and toxicology, along with overseeing the manufacturing of PLGA Nanoparticle Drug Products. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Scientist at Adipo Therapeutics, leading preclinical R&D for polymeric nanoparticles targeting obesity and type 2 diabetes, and collaborations with CMOs and toxicology experts on studies in various animal models. As a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Arizona State University, Muhammad explored nucleic acid methylation effects on immune responses and developed nanoparticle systems for mRNA delivery. Earlier research at Missouri University of Science and Technology involved designing targeted cancer treatment systems and optimizing drug delivery mechanisms. Muhammad holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
