Shaw Strothers

Shaw Strothers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user experience design and management. Currently serving as the Sr Manager of UX Design at Dexcom since September 2018, Shaw leads a team focused on international glucose management applications and hardware UX design. As a Design Mentor at adplist.org and Founder of TypeONEderful, an apparel company supporting Type 1 Diabetics, Shaw actively contributes to community empowerment and awareness. Shaw has held various roles, including Innovation & UX Lead at Innovation Hub Enterprises and User Experience Lead at User Insight, where responsibilities encompassed full lifecycle UX research and design in Agile environments. Additionally, Shaw's background includes industrial design and management roles at Slingshot Product Development Group and early experience in community engagement at Georgia Tech. Shaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
