Jessica Green currently serves as a Program Manager at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) since October 2023. With a long-standing affiliation with the Santa Fe Institute as External Faculty and a Science Board member since July 2010, Jessica Green has significantly contributed to research on evolving systems. Previous leadership roles include CEO, President, and Board Member at Phylagen, where microbiome technology was employed for indoor environmental quality management. As a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at the University of Oregon, Jessica Green directed the Biology and the Built Environment (BioBE) Center, fostering interdisciplinary training. Jessica Green's accolades include participation in the TED Fellows program and receiving the Blaise Pascal International Research Chair from the Foundation de l’Ecole Normale Superieure. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the same institution.
