Seamus McLoughney

Seamus McLoughney is an experienced construction and commercial director with a strong focus on major infrastructure projects and sports venue development. Currently serving as Director at AECOM since August 2023, Seamus previously held the position of Commercial Director at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy from December 2019 to August 2023, where the role involved managing projects to ensure venue readiness for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Seamus's career began at EC Harris in September 2002, leading to significant roles during the World Cup preparations, including Associate Director at Arcadis from January 2014 to December 2019, where full commercial management of Lusail Stadium was handled. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of South Wales and a MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University.
