Jennifer Watchi

Jennifer Watchi's work experience includes the following roles:

1. Opto-mechatronics space test engineer at Aerospacelab since April 2022. (Ongoing)

2. Doctorante at Université libre de Bruxelles from October 2015 to March 2022. Jennifer was involved in assisting with Physics courses for first-year Civil Engineer and Bioengineer students, as well as conducting doctoral research under the supervision of a professor.

3. Fellow at the LIGO research center at Caltech from September 2021 to December 2021. Jennifer had the opportunity to understand the workings of the LIGO instrument, participated in equipment installation and clean room characterization, and aided in detecting faulty sensors in isolation stages.

4. Ingénieur modélisation at SCK-CEN in August 2013 for a month.

Overall, Jennifer has experience in opto-mechatronics space testing, physics research and teaching, and involvement in high-tech research instruments.

Jennifer Watchi obtained their Bachelor's degree in physics with a focus on radiotherapy and radioprotection from Université libre de Bruxelles. Jennifer then went on to earn a Master's degree in civil engineering with a specialization in applied physics from the same university. In addition, Jennifer completed a Master's degree in engineering from Ecole polytechnique de Bruxelles. The exact start year of their studies at Ecole polytechnique de Bruxelles is unknown, but their education there was completed in 2015.
