Rick Johnston

Rick Johnston has extensive experience in training and technical instruction, currently serving as a Training and Safety Specialist and Engineering Technician at Aerostar International LLC since December 2019. Previously, Rick worked at Spartan Motors, Inc. as a Technical Trainer, where responsibilities included developing technical training programs for fire truck and utility vehicle production. At Daktronics, Rick created digital training modules for the Services Team and managed project plans for efficient learning development. As a Technical Training Coordinator at Raven Industries, Rick delivered instructor-led training and collaborated with Subject Matter Experts to enhance employee knowledge in specialized areas. Earlier in the career at Hutchinson Technology Inc., Rick provided technical training on various systems including laser welding and robotics. Rick holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting from Colorado Technical University and Geography from South Dakota State University.
