Juan Pando Garcia

Juan Pando Garcia is an experienced professional in the field of industrial engineering and automation, currently serving as Ingeniero SCADA y Comunicaciones at AES Andes since October 2011. Responsibilities include the review of basic engineering for SCADA and communications systems related to renewable energy projects, along with detailed engineering for contractor systems. Previously, Juan held the position of Supervisor de Mantenimiento I&C, where maintenance of instrumentation and control for energy generation was managed. Earlier experience includes roles at ARAUCO and Masisa, focusing on electrical and control maintenance in production areas, as well as planning and commissioning of maintenance for various systems. Juan holds degrees in Civil Industrial Engineering and Electronic Engineering from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria and has foundational training as a Tercer Piloto in the Naval Academy.
