Charles Reynolds is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Principal Engineer at AES Clean Energy, focusing on long duration energy storage and photovoltaic innovations. Previously, Charles held roles such as Technical Product Manager at Canadian Solar Inc., where responsibilities included vetting racking products for certification and managing PV inverter monitoring products. As the founder of Solfrost, LLC, Charles designed a solar-powered cooler and optimized its performance. Charles has also held leadership positions at FTC Solar, Inc. and SunEdison, contributing to significant product developments in solar tracking systems. With a background that includes mechanical engineering roles in hydrogen fuel cells, automotive heating systems, and aerospace software testing, Charles holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
