Evaristo Leonardi

Evaristo Leonardi is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at The AES Corporation since April 2007, overseeing operations, maintenance, engineering, and construction for energy infrastructure and international markets across multiple continents and countries. With a strong background in global operations, Evaristo held various leadership positions at AES, including Vice President of Operations and Chief Transformation Officer, where responsibilities encompassed environmental, health, safety, global supply chain, and digital transformation initiatives. Prior to AES, Evaristo spent approximately 13 years at La Electricidad de Caracas in Venezuela, where roles included Commercial Manager and CFO, alongside academic experience as an Assistant Professor of Physics. Evaristo holds multiple degrees, including an Electrical Engineering degree from Universidad Metropolitana and advanced education in finance and leadership from prestigious institutions.
