Richard Allan Thomas is a seasoned professional in strategic foresight and innovation, currently serving as Co-Founder and Lead Strategist at The Foresight Studio since October 2019, and as a Foresight Strategist at Aether since September 2023. With extensive experience in disaster risk anticipation and incident foresight, Richard held roles at Future Cell and Mayday.ai, contributing valuable insights in risk reduction. Previous positions include Lead Strategist at Element AI and Director Design Strategy and Foresight at RBC. Richard has also co-headed strategic foresight teams at Idea Couture Inc. and WEREPIDEAS, focusing on innovative growth and customer experience design. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and Strategic Creativity from OCAD University, completed in 2005.
