Adam Stachura possesses extensive experience in policy, communications, and external affairs within the political landscape. Currently serving as Associate Director of Policy, Communications and External Affairs at Age Scotland since February 2018, Stachura has previously held positions such as International Trainer at the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and Director of Campaigns for Scotland with the Liberal Democrats. Notable earlier roles include Political Liaison for George Lyon MEP at the European Parliament, and Political Aide to Sir Menzies Campbell MP at the House of Commons. Age Scotland is the national charity for older people. We work to improve the lives of everyone over the age of 50 so that they can love later life. We support and enable hundreds of community groups across Scotland, provide information and advice through our free helpline and publications, tackle loneliness and isolation with our Community Connecting Service and much more. We work to influence policymakers and run campaigns to make Scotland the best place in the world to grow older. Age Scotland was formed following the 2010 merger between Age Concern Scotland and Help the Aged in Scotland.
