Aumbreen Akram

Aumbreen Akram is an experienced professional in laboratory operations and program management. Currently serving as the Enterprise Program Operations Manager at Agilent Technologies since May 2022, Aumbreen previously held the role of Laboratory Operations Coordinator at Canada's Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre, where responsibilities included formulating goals and implementing policies. A prior position at Simon Fraser University involved managing laboratory activities and supporting research related to neuroscience. With a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Aumbreen also participated in a Fulbright UGRAD Fellowship at the University of Arkansas. Additional experience includes lecturing and teaching assistance in various academic settings.
