Richard Tyacke began their work experience in 2004, joining the Royal Navy as a Warfare Officer. Richard completed training on ships such as HMS Chatham and HMS Endurance before becoming an Officer of the Watch on HMS Ocean. Richard then underwent training in fighter control at RNAS Yeovilton and served as a fighter controller on HMS York. Afterward, they joined the RAF at the school of Aerospace Battle Management at RAF Boulmer, where they became a fighter control instructor. In 2014, they transitioned into the legal field, starting as a Trainee Solicitor at Eversheds. Richard then worked as a Solicitor at Pets at Home from 2016 to 2017 and at Community Integrated Care from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Richard Tyacke holds the position of Head Of Legal at Alfred H Knight since February 2019.

Richard Tyacke attended St Mary's RC High School, although it is unclear when they completed their studies there. Richard then went on to study Chemistry at Cardiff University from 1998 to 2002, earning a BSc (Hons) degree. In 2002-2003, Richard pursued further education at Bournemouth University, specializing in Intellectual Property Law and obtaining an LLM degree. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2009, they attended The University of Law, where they studied Law and earned a GDL degree. Finally, in 2013-2014, Richard enrolled at BPP University, completing their education with an LPC degree in Law.
