George Gravvanis has extensive work experience in the IT industry. George began their career in 2007 as a Senior Consultant at Cognity, where they led development teams and was responsible for the realization of IT projects for major Telco and Banking organizations in the Balkan area. George worked on the complete software development life cycle.
In 2014, George joined Ahold Delhaize as the Digital Development Lead - IT Belgium and CSE Europe. In this role, they served as a Senior Product Owner and Development Lead, overseeing distributed Scrum development teams. George implemented new features for the SAP Hybris e-Commerce solution and worked closely with business stakeholders and product managers to translate business requirements into customer-friendly features. George also ensured technical design was aligned with the company's omnichannel, multi-country, white-label product guidelines.
George Gravvanis has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. George also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from the same university. In addition, they have received certifications in various areas including project management, agile practices, and software development.
