Sergio Carillo

Sergio Carillo is an experienced executive with a strong background in operations and leadership within the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as COO at AIG since June 2025, Sergio previously held the position of COO - Continental Europe at Sompo International from September 2023 to June 2025. Sergio's earlier roles at AIG included Chief Operating Officer, CEO, COO Brazil, and CIO Brazil over a span of nearly a decade. Prior to AIG, Sergio worked at ACE Group from October 2007 to March 2014, taking on multiple roles including Regional CFO & COO - ACE Life - Latin America and Global Head of IT and Operations. Sergio's career began at MetLife as CIO from August 1999 to October 2006, and earlier at UNIBANCO AIG between 1992 and 1999.
