Sylvain Bouteillé

Sylvain Bouteillé is the Head of Trade Credit for the Americas at AIG, overseeing Trade Credit operations across the USA, Canada, and Latin America since July 2021. With significant experience in the (re)insurance sector, Sylvain previously served as Principal and Founder of 4CV Consulting from January 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, a substantial tenure at Swiss Re from 1996 to 2019 involved leadership roles including MD, Global Co-Head of P&C Multinational Programs and Managing Director, Head of Sales North America. Academically, Sylvain has taught the MS Risk Management program at Queens College School of Business since 2011 and authored “The Handbook of Credit Risk Management.” Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. from INSEAD and an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Ecole nationale des Travaux publics de l'Etat.
