Aionics
Shreyas Honrao is a Senior Materials Informatics Scientist at Aionics, Inc. since July 2023, with prior experience as a Computational Materials Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center from January 2019 to June 2023. Shreyas has expertise in materials informatics and machine learning, particularly in developing all-solid-state lithium batteries and shape memory alloys. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University from August 2013 to December 2018, Shreyas advanced machine learning techniques for crystal structure predictions and conducted significant studies on oxygen diffusion in transition metals. Education includes a PhD and an MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University, complemented by a B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Previous research roles include positions at IIT Madras, University of North Texas, and Tata Motors, covering a range of materials science applications.
