Catherine Zettel Nalen

Catherine Zettel Nalen is a seasoned professional in research communication and environmental health, currently serving as a Research Communication Partner at AJE since March 2024, following the acquisition by MPS Limited. Previously, Catherine has held roles at Research Square Company since September 2018, including Academic Editor and Operations Specialist, where expertise in editing academic manuscripts in various scientific fields was demonstrated. From March 2014 to March 2018, Catherine directed the Environmental Health Division at the Williamson County and Cities Health District and previously contributed to mosquito management and research as a Medical Entomologist. Earlier experience includes a Biological Science Technician position at the USDA Agricultural Research Service and a role as Extension Coordinator at the University of Florida's Honey Bee Research and Extension Laboratory. Catherine holds an M.S. in Medical and Veterinary Entomology from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Zoology from the State University of New York at Oswego.
