Matthew Philbin

Matthew Philbin has over two decades of finance leadership experience, currently serving as Vice President of Finance at Akamai Technologies since November 2002. In this role, Matthew has held various positions including Head of Division FP&A, CFO of the Enterprise and Carrier Division, and CFO of the Media Business Unit. Prior to Akamai, Matthew worked at Genuity, where responsibilities included Sr. Manager of M&A and Strategic Finance, and Manager of FP&A. Matthew's career began at GTE Corporation as a Senior Auditor. Academically, Matthew is pursuing a Master of Science in Finance at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and has completed the Greater Boston Executive Program at MIT Sloan School of Management, in addition to holding a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
