Roger Barranco

Roger Barranco, CISSP, NSA IAM/IEM, is an accomplished leader in cybersecurity with extensive experience in global security operations. Since February 2014, Roger has served as the Vice President of Global Security Operations at Akamai Technologies, overseeing managed security operations from six Security Operations Control Centers positioned worldwide. Prior to this role, Roger was the Vice President of Service Delivery at Prolexic Technologies, where responsibilities included managing the Security Operations Center and service assurance for the largest DDoS mitigation provider. Roger's earlier career includes positions as VP of Operations and CTO at Host.net, focusing on telecommunications and IS security services, and Director of Worldwide Support at CyberGuard Corp, where efforts centered around building global teams of IS security professionals.
