Paul Hartung is an experienced operations manager in the timber industry, currently serving as General Manager Operations at AKD Softwoods since September 2022. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of General Manager at One Forty One Wood Products from January 2018 to September 2022, managing a softwood sawmill with over 300 employees. Paul has also worked in various management capacities including Facility Manager at Carter Holt Harvey, Regional Manager at Timberlink Australia, and General Manager at ITC Limited, overseeing multiple timber processing facilities. Additional experience includes roles as Site Manager at Green Triangle Forest Products and Production Manager at Auspine. Paul Hartung's education includes attendance at Syndal Technical School from 1983 to 1988.
