Thomas Karbe

Thomas Karbe has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Thomas began their career at TU Berlin as a Diplom-Informatiker in 2007, and then became a Research Assistant at the same institution in 2012. That same year, they also took on the role of Visiting Scholar at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2013, they became a Research Fellow at DCAITI. Since 2016, they have been employed at Aklamio, where they have held the roles of VP of Engineering, Head of Technology, and Head of Data.

Thomas Karbe began their educational journey in 2002 at Technische Universität Berlin. Thomas studied there until 2007 and did not receive a degree. In 2007, they resumed their studies at Technische Universität Berlin and in 2014, they earned a Dr. rer. nat. (Computer Science) in the field of Computer Science.
