Hong Cao

Hong Cao holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Hiroshima University and a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis from Tsinghua University. Currently serving as Senior Scientist II at Akoya Biosciences, Inc. since November 2020, Hong Cao specializes in AlphaLISA, LANCE, and DELFIA technology, focusing on the development of protein-protein binding kits and biomarker detection kits. Previous positions include Biochemist 2 at Siemens Healthineers, Senior Scientist at PerkinElmer, Inc., and Research Assistant Professor at UMass Medical School, where Hong Cao gained extensive experience in drug discovery, assay development, and epigenetics.
