Ahmed Zaki has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ahmed began their career in 1995 as a Senior Public Prosecutor at the Supreme Judicial Council of Egypt, where they conducted prosecutions in criminal cases. Ahmed later served as a Judge in civil, commercial, real estate, labor, civil execution, criminal, and family dispute cases. During this time, they interpreted and enforced rules of procedure and established new rules when necessary.
In 2009, Ahmed joined the Ras Al Khaimah Prosecution Department as a Senior Public Prosecutor, where they continued to handle criminal cases, including white collar crimes. Ahmed also took on the role of training and mentoring support staff.
In 2015, Ahmed transitioned to the private sector, joining Al Hamra as the Head of Legal Affairs. Ahmed provided legal expertise and advice to strategic leadership, analyzing complex corporate transactions and overseeing the activities of the legal department. Ahmed also briefly held the position of Acting Group Head of HR.
In 2018, Ahmed joined Marjan as the General Counsel, responsible for legal affairs.
Throughout their career, Ahmed has demonstrated their ability to handle various legal matters, provide expert opinions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Their experience showcases their strong legal background and their aptitude for managing complex legal issues.
Ahmed Zaki's education history begins with their completion of a High School Diploma at Collège Saint Marc in 1990. Ahmed then pursued a Bachelor of Law degree from Alexandria University, graduating in 1994. Following this, Ahmed Zaki enrolled in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree specializing in Legal and Commercial International Transactions and Logistics, with an expected completion date in 2022. Additionally, at some point after 1994, they attended the Judicial Studies Centre, although specific details about the degree or field of study obtained during this time are not provided.
