Stephen de la Vega

Stephen De La Vega has extensive experience in information systems management, particularly within the public health sector. Since March 1994, Stephen has served as Information Systems Manager at the Alameda County Public Health Department, where key achievements include overseeing IT operations for COVID vaccination sites, implementing a COVID Information Call Center using AWS Connect, and directing the design of a department-wide electronic health record system. Additional responsibilities include serving as Information Security Officer, contributing to public health accreditation efforts, and managing the integration of a county-wide immunization registry. Previously, Stephen held roles at California Pacific Medical Center and Deloitte & Touche, focusing on network administration and computer support, where core contributions included developing technology standards and managing large-scale data system transitions.
