Alan Vierling serves as the Interim ANMC Administrator. Alan brings over 40 years of experience in health care and has served as a clinician in a variety of clinical settings, including in emergency departments, surgical services, critical care, pediatrics, behavioral health, and oncology.
He attained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Radford University and his doctorate at Old Dominion. Alan has held roles as a chief nurse, a chief operating officer, and a service line vice president.
