Roshen Abdullah

Roshen Abdullah is currently employed as a LAUNCH Rotational Associate at Albemarle Corporation since June 2024. Previously, Roshen co-owned BackYardBash LLC from January 2023 to January 2024, successfully generating a 78% profit margin through strategic marketing for large-scale student events. Roshen's experience includes a Corporate Engineer Intern role at Albemarle Corporation, wherein a project was led to enhance safety and efficiency at a plant site, and work as a Research Engineer at HarbisonWalker International. Additional engagements included participation in the Deloitte-Pitt Mentorship Program and leading the Moving the Cities event for SAP. Roshen also served as an EXCEL Future Leader Extern at AbbVie, conducted undergraduate research at the University of Pittsburgh's Carbon Nanotube Lab, and held a teaching assistant position. Roshen is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, projected to graduate in May 2024.
