Irene de Esteban

Irene De Esteban is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and strategic management. Currently serving as Global Category Manager at SYNLAB International and Head of Strategic Procurement at SYNLAB Portugal since May 2025, Irene also contributes as an Associate Professor at IQS Executive Education. Previously held roles include Head of Procurement Iberia at SYNLAB España and Purchasing Manager for raw materials and packaging at Neuraxpharm. Over the years, Irene has cultivated a strong foundation in strategic purchasing, managing diverse categories within the pharmaceutical and procurement sectors. Irene's educational background includes a Master in International Purchasing from IQS Barcelona and various degrees from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
