Dr. Jonas Hermann has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dr. Jonas most recently worked as the Director Group Legal at ALDI SüD Holding starting in October 2023. Before that, they held the position of General Counsel EMEA at BASF Environmental Catalyst & Metal Solutions in 2023. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Head of Legal and Compliance Central Europe at BASF, while also working as a Senior Legal Counsel EMEA in the Central Legal Department from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, Dr. Hermann worked at Linklaters as an Associate / Rechtsanwalt from 2012 to 2017, and as a Legal Trainee (Rechtsreferendar) at SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in 2012. Dr. Jonas also gained experience as a Legal Trainee at Linklaters in 2011 and as a Research Assistant at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 2008 to 2010.
Dr. Jonas Hermann has a State Exam, Dr. iur. degree in Law from Heidelberg University. Dr. Jonas also participated in a study abroad program at the University of Adelaide, focusing on Law.
