Alan Hamilton

Alan Hamilton is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in quality management, continuous improvement, and product engineering spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Product and Process Engineer at ALEX-BEGG AND COMPANY since November 2021, Alan has previously held significant roles, including Quality Manager at RUA MEDICAL DEVICES LTD and Rumbol Products Ltd, and Lead Continuous Improvement and Quality Engineer at TMD Friction. Alan's notable achievements include leading successful plant ISO9001:2015 certifications, implementing cost reduction projects, and developing training workshops. With a strong background in software development and test engineering from Agilent Technologies and Motorola, Alan has driven quality metrics and process improvements in various environments, achieving awards for outstanding performance and a Six Sigma Green Belt designation. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University.
