Rick Merritt is an accomplished solution architect with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, currently serving Alexander & Associates since August 2014 and as a consultant at RICK4IMS LLC since August 2012. Merritt's expertise lies in improving productivity and throughput at manufacturing sites through effective analysis and solution recommendations. With a long tenure at Procter & Gamble from 1977 to 2020, Merritt held various leadership roles, including Manufacturing Execution Systems Engineering Leader, where significant contributions included the architecture and implementation of MES systems and enhancements to manufacturing processes. Merritt’s expertise encompasses business intelligence program management, SQL Server database design, and the development of custom manufacturing intelligence applications. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Merritt has a strong foundation in engineering principles.

A&A works in a collaborative effort with our clients to develop their manufacturing processes into realized designs and machines for varying purposes from proof-of-principal, to development, to full scale production. A&A completes design packages to client standards and does not have a particular type of “standard” product line. All of our machines and design packages are considered “custom” to meet specific needs of our clients.
