Aja Shimamura

Aja Shimamura is a seasoned leasing manager at Alexander & Baldwin, overseeing a retail portfolio of over 1.3 million square feet on Oahu since January 2016. Prior to this role, Aja held various positions at the American Heart Association, including Associate Director of Special Events, where notable achievements included planning the Heart Ball, which raised over $1 million for the organization's mission. Aja also has experience as a project coordinator at Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, a strategy and business development coordinator at Progressive Communications, and an intern at Warner Bros. Pictures. Aja holds an MBA from the University of Hawai‘i and a BBA in Marketing and International Business from Loyola Marymount University.
