Nick Smith is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Executive Director of Information Technology at Alinta Energy since September 2019, where previous roles included General Manager of Technology Transformation and interim Chief Information Officer. Prior to Alinta Energy, Nick held the position of Account General Manager at Datacom for a brief period in 2019, and served as Chief Information Officer and National Practice Director for Infrastructure Consulting and Managed Services at SMS Management & Technology from February 2011 to December 2018. Additional experience includes roles at Fujitsu as General Manager of Sales & Service Delivery, at KAZ in various positions including General Manager Client Delivery Services, and at ASG Group as National Customer Services Manager. Nick's early career included a position as Service Desk Manager at Unisys West. Nick is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
