Pete Mello

Pete Mello has over two decades of experience in talent acquisition, notably serving as Executive Director and Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Alkermes from January 2004 to March 2025, where strategic leadership encompassed recruitment across various sectors, the development of diversity initiatives, and executive search for C-suite positions. Additionally, Mello currently serves as a Strategic Advisor for LEAP TA Searchlight at Hanson Wade Group, collaborating with major pharmaceutical companies to enhance diversity in talent sourcing. Prior roles include positions at Aerotek, where responsibilities spanned from Account Executive to Manager of Recruiting Operations, culminating in significant expertise in full lifecycle recruiting and relationship management. Mello holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
