Steven Showers

Steven Showers is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in managing and enhancing security engineering teams across various organizations. Since August 2022, Steven has served as the Manager of Cloud Security Engineering and Information Security Engineering at Allegiant Airlines, leading a team focused on fostering innovation and growth. Prior to this role, from October 2019 to August 2022, Steven held dual positions at TransUnion as Technical Lead and Lead Engineer for Network Security IDS/IPS, where significant advancements in security posture were achieved. Steven's career includes roles at Docker, Cisco, and Sourcefire, encompassing technical support, solutions engineering, and administration. Steven is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University, expected to complete in July 2025.
