Mike Martin has extensive experience in the sports and entertainment industry. Mike started their career as an Account Executive at Palace Sports & Entertainment & NBA Detroit Pistons in 2000. Mike then transitioned into a Client Service & Retention Account Manager role at the same company. In 2006, Mike joined the NBA Dallas Mavericks Basketball Club as a Senior Account Executive. Mike later became the Director of Sales & Service at the Dallas Stars Hockey Club in 2007. In 2009, Mike took on the role of Sales Manager at the Detroit Red Wings Hockey Club. In 2011, they became the Executive Vice President at the Allen Americans Professional Hockey Club. Currently, Mike is serving as the Assistant General Manager at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center & Allen Community Ice Rink.

The Allen Americans Professional Hockey Club is the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Ottawa Senators. Founded in 2009, the club is owned by Myles and LaSonjia Jack. Championship Hockey is the backbone of the franchise, with the "Red" having captured back-to-back ECHL Kelly Cup Championships in 2014-15 & 2015-16, and two Central Hockey League President’s Cups in 2012-13 & 2013-14.
