Rebecca Hodge

Assistant Investigator at Allen Institute

Rebecca Hodge is an experienced neuroscientist with a strong background in developmental neurosciences. Currently serving as an Assistant Investigator and previously as a Senior Scientist and Scientist II at the Allen Institute since March 2014, Rebecca has contributed significantly to research in the field. Prior experience includes roles as Acting Instructor at the University of Washington from June 2012 to February 2014 and Senior Fellow at both Seattle Children's (2008-2012) and the University of Washington (2005-2012). Rebecca's academic journey began with studies at the University of British Columbia, where a PhD in Pathology & Laboratory Medicine with a focus on Developmental Neurosciences was obtained, following a BSc in Animal Physiology from Simon Fraser University. Research has centered on the role of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) in neural progenitor development and differentiation.
