Dr. Jia Luo

Dr. Jia Luo is an experienced professional in the field of tax and transfer pricing, currently working at Allianz in a Global Tax - Transfer Pricing role since June 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Luo held positions at BDO Germany as an International Tax - Transfer Pricing specialist from April 2022 to May 2023, and at BASF as a Senior Controlling Specialist and Controlling Specialist in Operational Transfer Pricing between September 2019 and March 2022. Academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in International Management from the University of Bayreuth, where Dr. Luo also served as a Research Assistant focusing on organizational learning and knowledge transfer in international mergers and acquisitions from October 2013 to June 2019, alongside holding a Master’s Degree in Management Science and Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology.
