Phillip Armstrong

Phillip Armstrong is a seasoned construction professional with a comprehensive background in project management and development. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Allied Properties REIT since September 2020, Phillip has previously held progressive roles within the organization, including Senior Manager of Construction and Manager of Construction. Prior experience includes project management at Dream Unlimited and various roles at CREATE Construction Group and Delnor Construction, where skills in scheduling, field coordination, and sub-trade management were honed. Phillip's career began as a Carpenter with Mark Peabody Custom Builder and as the Owner of Armstrong Contracting, demonstrating versatility in both hands-on and managerial capacities. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Queen's University, complemented by a Project Management Certificate in Construction Management from Mount Royal University and a Carpentry designation from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
