Riley Martin

Riley Martin is a software engineer with a robust background in educational roles and software development. Currently employed at Allstate as a Software Engineer, Consultant II, Riley specializes in full stack development using Java, Transact-SQL, and Javascript since December 2022. Previously at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, Riley contributed to automation testing by converting tests from Cucumber in Ruby to Playwright in Javascript and writing automated tests for new features in an agile environment. Riley's foundational experience includes completing a software engineering bootcamp at Turing School of Software & Design, where multiple projects were built, and mentoring peers. Additionally, Riley served in various educational positions, including 5th Grade Teacher, where data-driven instruction and social-emotional support were emphasized, and as a paraprofessional focused on supporting children with special needs. Riley holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
