Rea Pañares

Rea Pañares has worked in a variety of roles in the health sector since 2001. In 2001, they worked as a Manager at the National Business Group on Health. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Program Associate at Grantmakers In Health and from 2005 to 2011 they worked as the Director of Minority Health Initiatives at Families USA. From 2011 to 2019, they worked as an Independent Consultant at RP Consulting and as a Senior Advisor at Prevention Institute. In 2019, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Alluma, where they lead the Operations Department and is focused on making sure processes and systems are efficient, cost-effective, and staying true to the organization's values.

Rea Pañares obtained a Master of Health Science from The Johns Hopkins University in Health Policy & Management, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
