Weichao Wang

Weichao Wang is a Professor at Nankai University since July 2013 and a Senior Engineer at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor since September 2012. Previously, Weichao Wang served as a Scientist at Nanostellar Inc. from June 2011 to August 2012, focusing on the rational design of low-cost catalysis for exhaust gas treatment, particularly for the oxidation of NO, CO, and hydrocarbons. Weichao Wang earned a Ph.D. in computational material science with a focus on high-k oxide/III-V interface from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2008 to 2011. Additional education includes a visiting position at The University of Texas at Arlington, where solar cell materials were investigated, and a Master’s degree in multiscale simulation in materials science from the Chinese Academy of Science from 2002 to 2005.
