Ben James has extensive experience in finance, currently serving as Partner - Head of Lender Engagement in Fund Finance at Alpha Group since November 2023. Prior to this, Ben held positions at NatWest Markets Plc in Fund Finance Structuring from November 2021 to November 2023, and at Deloitte UK in Debt & Capital Advisory for Fund Finance & Leveraged Finance from January 2017 to October 2021. Ben began their career at Barclays, working in the Financial Institutions Group within Corporate & Investment Banking from September 2011 to December 2016, focusing on Specialist Debt Finance. Ben holds a degree from the University of Nottingham, completed from 2008 to 2011, and was educated at Tonbridge School from 2002 to 2007.
