Kumar Murukurthy

Kumar Murukurthy currently serves as the Chief Information Digital Officer at Altais since August 2024. Prior to this role, Kumar held the position of CIO Senior Director II at Walmart Health & Wellness from September 2022 to August 2024. From March 2020 to September 2022, Kumar was the System Vice President of Clinical Applications at CommonSpirit Health, where responsibilities included leading the implementation and operation of EHR systems across over 1000 sites and overseeing IT and Digital Strategy at the enterprise level. Before that, from February 2020 to March 2020, Kumar worked as the Vice President of Core Clinical Technologies at Navigant, managing project assessments and client relationships. Kumar's earlier experience includes serving as the Chief Medical Information Officer at CHI Memorial from August 2018 to March 2020, where efforts focused on leading an Epic Project across multiple hospitals. Kumar holds an MBBS/MD medical degree from Gulbarga University.
